Comfort ventilation system
with compact energy
control center
Zehnder's Comfohome concept provides an ideal indoor climate with very low energy consumption. This helps safeguard the value of your investment. All it takes in private homes is the installation of a Comfofresh comfort ventilation system and the Comfobox compact energy control center, which houses the entire energy management system for one residential unit.

Apart from providing heat, fresh air and hot water, the Comfobox also serves as an air conditioner to cool your home. Coordinated components make it easy to install and ensure that Comfobox runs reliably and hygienically.
Functional diagram Via a suction device (1), the outside air is drawn into the compact energy control center (2) where the air is heated using the energy extracted from waste air. It is then passed through a muffler (3) to the air distributor (4). From there the heated air is channeled through a flexible pipe system (blue) to the air inlet grilles (5) in the bedrooms. Through sound-insulated ducts (6) the air is channeled into the corridor and the living room and then extracted from the kitchen and bathroom through extraction grilles (7).

The heat pump in the Comfobox extracts heat from the ground via a ground heat exchanger (8). This heat can be used to heat the water in the boiler or – with an under-floor heating system (9) and radiators (10) – it can be used to heat the house. In summer the same heating surfaces are used to cool the house.
