1993 Hans-Peter Zehnder (4th generation) appointed chairman of the executive committee.

1959 The third generation of the Zehnder family took over the management of the company.

1930 Financial difficulties of the limited company J. Zehnder & Söhne. The Zehnder brothers were forced to resign from all their offices.

1895 Jakob Zehnder (born 1855) set up a mechanical workshop in Gränichen, Switzerland.
