Zehnder Group is striving for long-term, profitable growth. We primarily
achieve this aim through organic growth. Over and beyond this we
enter into various forms of cooperation with third parties or make
acquisitions – especially if we consider these to be more
promising.
Sales growth is important, but sales growth without growth of
profit creates no added value – neither for our customers,
nor for our employees or our shareholders. Since going public
in 1986, Zehnder Group's sales and profit have multiplied steadily.
This was possible because the group had healthy foundations
on which to base its expansion efforts.
The market changes all the time. To stay successful
it is essential to be innovative. Attempting something new means
taking risks – and such risks can lead to setbacks.
Should they occur, they must never endanger the company's
existence. In order to be able to cope with internal and
market-related setbacks we take great care that our balance
sheet is healthy.

Zehnder Group wants to be a leader in its markets (see
Business ).
This means that in its business sectors Zehnder Group wants to be
one of the three best companies in the world.
We achieve this in various ways:
- we work with several well-established brands,
in order the penetrate the market on a broad basis.
- we ensure that our modern production
plants are always state-of-the-art. We permanently
make high investments in
machinery and equipment. At the same time we develop
new manufacturing technologies in order to make our
products even more competitive in terms of price and
even better in terms of quality. In this respect Zehnder
Group's manufacturing know-how is unique.
- we continually develop new and successful products. Our
list of innovations is steadily growing longer and in the
market we are recognized as the leading
innovator.
- we are expanding our strong sales
organization even further – be this in
countries where we already have a presence or be this
into new countries.
- we have highly skilled sales staff for all aspects of customer
support. Our sales teams have access to modern
information and IT platforms, which are currently being
enhanced in a long-term project.
- we are committed to quality and
the environment. Our production plants have ISO
9000 certification. In the very rare cases where we
work with materials that could potentially endanger
the environment we have stringent protective measures
in place and have also been certified in accordance
with the ISO 14001 environmental audit. We are working
actively for the necessary certification of all our
other plants.
- our production processes are sustainable – and
our products are sustainable.
Provided they are correctly used or operated, products with
the Zehnder Group labels will last for several decades.
Our radiators are made primarily of steel, which
can easily be recycled. During their useful life we want
our products to provide warmth and comfort, when their useful
life is over it must be possible to dispose of them easily
and safely.
- and, last but not least, we have a decentralized organization – because
the needs of the market and of our customers and thus of
our group companies differ from country to country. Only
a very few functions are organized centrally – particularly
those where the advantages of centralization clearly outweigh
the disadvantages of decentralization.

| Our vision |
Change and adjustment are Zehnder Group's ever-present
strengths. Since 1930, when Zehnder discontinued its motorcycle
production, the group has become a leading manufacturer of radiators
with worldwide operations. During the 1990s various business activities
were spun off in order to focus fully on the group's core business
of radiators. This vision and its consistent implementation form
the basis for Zehnder Group's long-term successful development. |

This was not and is not the end of the process of continual renewal.
Since the beginning of the 21st century we have been changing from
a pure radiator company to a supplier of a comfortable indoor climate.
Our new strategic thrust into the field of so-called silent cooling
with our overhead radiant panels and our new comfort ventilation
activity is an expression of this vision. These two initiatives
ideally complement our very wide range of products (bathroom radiators,
custom radiators, electric radiators).
Thus Zehnder is increasingly becoming a synonym for warmth and
a pleasant, healthy indoor climate. |
