Decline in revenues and strong currency effects
Zehnder Group, an international provider of solutions for a comfortable, healthy and energy-efficient indoor climate, achieved net sales of EUR 253.2 million in the first half of 2015, slightly above those of the previous year. Adjusted for currency effects, revenues declined by 4 %. The slow construction market, insufficient production capacity utilisation and increasing pricing pressures impacted earnings negatively. Combined with unfavourable currency effects, this resulted in a significantly lower net income of EUR 2.2 million.
