In the first six months of 2012, Zehnder Group, which operates internationally in the indoor climate sector (radiators and ventilation), increased sales year-on-year by 3 % to EUR 250.4 million despite the extremely difficult economic conditions. The operating result (EBIT) fell from EUR 22.1 million to EUR 20.0 million. However, net income rose 5 % to EUR 15.9 million. The Group executive committee expects full-year sales for the radiator segment to be on a par with the previous year’s level, with the ventilation segment posting low double-digit sales growth and overall net income similar to that in 2011.
