Gränichen (Switzerland), 4 April 2019 – The Board of Directors of the Zehnder Group (SIX: ZEHN), a leading international provider of complete solutions for a healthy indoor climate, has appointed Johannes Bollmann as Head Competence Center Comfosystems and member of the Group Executive Committee.
Johannes Bollmann is taking up his position as Head Competence Center Comfosystems with immediate effect and is also becoming a member of the Group Executive Committee. He replaces Olaf Schulte, who is leaving the company and will provide the Zehnder Group with consultancy services over the coming months.
Johannes Bollmann (born in 1982, Swiss/Italian dual citizen) holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Management, Technology, and Economics from ETH Zurich in Switzerland.
Before joining the Zehnder Group, Johannes Bollmann held various positions within the fields of marketing, sales and internal auditing at the power and automation engineering group ABB. In 2013, he took up the role of Head Business Development at the Zehnder Group’s Gränichen factory. He was then responsible for product management at Zehnder Group Schweiz AG, the Group’s Swiss sales company, between 2014 and 2016. He rose to Managing Director here in 2016, and Zehnder Group Schweiz AG has now launched the process of recruiting his successor.
The Board of Directors is delighted with Johannes Bollmann’s appointment, as it means that the position of Head Competence Center Comfosystems is now being filled by an expert from within Zehnder’s own ranks. It also wishes him every success as he takes up his new role as a member of the Group Executive Committee.
