Our sustainability strategy is geared towards the three focus areas of environment, employees, and society. In order to systematically develop our sustainable activities at Zehnder, we endeavour to analyse our impact on society and the environment based on facts, formulate ambitious but achievable goals, and report on our progress in a transparent manner.
By doing so, we wish to initiate change processes in order to make a lasting contribution to a liveable future. We support the 1.5-degree goal set at the Paris Climate Change Conference and undertake to commit to the aims of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
We take the outdoor climate into account at all times over the course of our business activities. We manufacture climate-friendly products for a healthy indoor climate. In doing so, we embrace circular life cycles in our production processes to save resources along the entire value chain. Using renewable energy sources and energy-efficient processes helps us on our journey towards climate-neutral production. Our key aim is to permanently cut harmful greenhouse gas emissions to zero.
