Focus areas

Occupational health and safety

We work hard to create a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. In order to ensure that our occupational health and safety measures are always up to date, we adopt internationally recognised safety standards. For instance, our plants in Gränichen (Switzerland), Lenham (United Kingdom), Bolesławiec (Poland), Vaux-Andigny (France), Lahr (Germany), and Manisa (Turkey) are certified according to ISO 45001 standards.

We are also working to further reduce workplace accidents and raise awareness of occupational health and safety matters through audits. Our ultimate goal for the future is to achieve zero work-related injuries.

Attractive employer

We want to keep improving as an employer and keep an open dialogue with our employees to see what we can do better. We regularly conduct employee surveys, using the feedback to take suitable measures to increase employee satisfaction.

Our commitment also includes furthering all employees' personal and professional development, creating a good work–life-integration and a motivating work culture. We promote internal career opportunities and offer comprehensive care to ensure the well-being of our employees. We are also continuously expanding our e-learning offerings to give our employees further training opportunities.

Diversity, equal opportunities, inclusion, and decent work

Our Zehnder Code of Conduct is our primary tool for ensuring equality and fairness throughout the company. We require all employees to adhere to our corporate values and train our managers to be exceptional role models to their teams. In addition, every stakeholder can anonymously report incidents in their national language via our whistleblowing system.

One of our goals for fairness is promoting gender equality. To accomplish this, we have projects for increasing the recruitment and employment rate of women at Zehnder, particularly in management.

No matter who you are or where you come from, at Zehnder Group we value diversity - in backgrounds and in experiences. Our people are the core of our business, and we are proud to welcome anyone to become part of our Zehnder family.
